Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures

What Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures is for

Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures is a simulation game set in Barbie's DreamHouse in Malibu. It is aimed at kids of all ages, and the listing says parents and other family members can join in on the dress-up and doll house games.

Most of the play is a set of separate activities inside one house and its surroundings: cooking, decorating, styling hair and nails, dressing up, and spending time at the beach or pool. You can move between them at any point.

Decorating each room of the DreamHouse

You redesign the house one room at a time. Each room takes its own wallpapers and decorations, so the result is a house arranged to your own taste. Home design is the main activity in the house.

Cooking, baking and sharing recipes on BarbieGram

The kitchen has many recipes to cook, and Skipper joins you for baking. When you finish a recipe you can post it to BarbieGram, where other players can see it.

Hairstyles, nail designs and dress-up outfits

The hair salon lets you design a wide range of hairstyles and add accessories to finish a look, and Teresa is there for a makeover day. At the Malibu Nail Spa you create nail designs using many colors, patterns and stickers.

The wardrobe includes princess dresses and relaxed pajamas. Nikki gives fashion advice on which outfit to wear.

Malibu Beach, pool parties and visiting friends

At Malibu Beach you can swim, dive, grill, lounge or build sandcastles. A surf competition mini game decides the ultimate surf champion. Ken hosts pool parties at the DreamHouse pool.

The Royal Ball at Floravian Castle lets you play a princess, mermaid swimming is underwater, and the DreamCamper takes you camping. You can also add friends and visit their DreamHouses, earning coins on each visit.

The listing says the app offers monthly subscriptions, with a free trial that one Google account can use on a new subscription. Opting in starts the trial, which converts to automatic charges unless it is cancelled during the trial. Subscriptions renew automatically until auto-renew is turned off in Google Account Settings, and cancelling does not refund the rest of the current period.
