What this file explorer covers
BD File Manager is an Android file explorer that puts local storage, removable drives and remote locations in one place. The developer positions it for keeping files on a phone, memory cards and network or cloud accounts organized from a single app.
It suits someone whose files are spread across the device and several outside services and who wants to move and tidy them without switching tools.
Browsing phone, SD card and USB storage
You can browse internal storage, SD cards, USB drives and OTG storage. Files can also be found by category: Downloads, Images, Audio, Videos, Documents and Recent Files.
Within those locations you can copy, move, rename and share files. The listing says these operations work across supported storage locations, not only inside the device.
Connecting to network shares and cloud accounts
Network storage is reached over SMB, FTP, FTPS, SFTP and WebDAV. That covers NAS boxes and file servers that speak those protocols.
Cloud access is listed for OneDrive, Dropbox and Google Drive, with the wording "supported cloud services" suggesting other providers may be added. Remote files are handled with the same copy, move and rename actions as local ones.
Zipping, unzipping and archive formats
The app opens and extracts ZIP, RAR, 7Z, ISO, TAR and GZIP archives. It can also create archives, in the formats the listing calls supported.
This lets you unpack a downloaded disc image or compressed bundle, or pack a folder for sending, without a separate archive app.
Finding what uses space and clearing it
The storage analysis breaks down internal storage, shows the size of each folder and lists which files take up the most space. It also locates empty files, temporary files, supported cache files, logs, duplicates and large files.
You review what it finds and choose what to remove. Nothing is deleted just by being listed.
