What Device Info covers
Device Info is a utility for reading the hardware, software and system details of an Android phone. It combines identifier lookups, storage cleanup, hardware checks and an app inspector in one place.
The listing presents it as a tool for checking a phone's details and testing its parts, so it suits people who want to look under the hood of their own device or of an app installed on it.
Reading device IDs and carrier codes
The phone info screen shows the device ID, phone ID and advertising ID. It also lists the SIM and network values: ICCID, MCC, MNC and carrier ID.
These values are useful when you need to confirm which carrier and network a phone is registered to, or to copy an identifier for a support request.
Testing screen, buttons, sensors and hardware
The device test section runs screen, button, sensor and hardware checks, so you can see whether each part responds. The benchmark section adds a hardware test and shows live readings from the phone's sensors.
Together these cover a quick check of a used or repaired phone, or a way to watch a sensor's output change as you move the device.
Inspecting installed apps and their manifests
The apps analysis view lists each app's target SDK, minimum SDK, installer, native libraries and sensitive permissions. Opening an app shows its activities, services, broadcast receivers and permissions, along with its AndroidManifest.xml.
This is the part of the app aimed at developers and curious users who want to see how an installed app is built and what it asks the system for.
Freeing storage and managing apps
The storage analysis finds redundant files, duplicate files and large files, which you can review to decide what to delete. Management tools let you export app icons and APK files, share apps, and uninstall them.
