Anyone deciding whether to hold their crypto and their trading in one app rather than several will want to know what Bitget actually covers. The developer calls it a Universal Exchange, meaning one account and one balance across more than one kind of market. The main parts are spot trading, futures, a margin-sharing account, an AI assistant, Earn products, copy trading and a rewards programme.

The listing presents the app as suited to people who trade across several markets from a phone and want to avoid switching between logins. Higher-volume traders are also addressed directly through a separate VIP tier, described further below. The listing gives no further detail on who the app is not for.

Buying and selling crypto on the spot market

Spot trading is the plain buy-and-sell side of the app. You pay for a coin and hold it, rather than holding a contract that tracks its price. The listing says Bitget supports more than 1200 digital assets, naming Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, BNB, Dogecoin, Sui, Pepe and TRON among them, and says newly listed projects are included.

The listing describes the spot market as having deep liquidity and a simple trading interface. Those are the developer's words, and nothing in this piece tests them.

Onchain and Web3 trading runs from the same spot account. According to the listing, you can use USDT or USDC already held in spot to find and trade trending onchain assets. The listing says the usual Web3 setup is not needed for this route.

Futures contracts and commodity perpetuals

Futures let you take a long or short position on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and other coins, using USDT-M, USDC-M or Coin-M contracts. Each is a separate contract type, and you choose the one that matches the market you want to trade.

The listing also includes commodity perpetuals, namely gold (XAU), silver (XAG) and crude oil (WTI). So the futures side is not limited to crypto prices.

One balance across spot, margin and futures

Earn products and copy trading

Bitget Earn is the part of the app for leaving crypto to earn returns. It offers Simple Earn, Dual Investment, Launchpool and Launchpad, covering Bitcoin, Tether, USD Coin, Ethereum, Solana and XRP. The listing states an upper figure of up to 20% APR and says rates are variable and not guaranteed.

Copy trading follows experienced traders. The listing says you can review a trader's history, risk metrics and performance, choose traders whose approach suits you, and have their trades mirrored automatically. It supports both spot and futures copy trading, and the listing states that all trading carries market risk.

Rewards, reserve checks and customer support

The rewards side covers task bundles, referral reward pools, PoolX locked staking, CandyBomb and daily check-ins. The listing says eligibility for each campaign follows that campaign's own terms, so the same action may not qualify in every case.

On security, the developer says Bitget keeps a Protection Fund as an extra layer of resilience. It also publishes monthly Merkle tree proofs and reserve ratios, which the listing says let you check reserves for Bitcoin, Tether, Ethereum and USD Coin at any time.
