ClassWiz Calc App Plus

What the ClassWiz app is for

ClassWiz Calc App Plus is Casio's ClassWiz scientific calculator running on Android phones and tablets. The listing positions it for people who already own or use a ClassWiz, so the same keys and operation carry over to a screen they already carry.

It covers fractions, trigonometric and logarithmic calculations, entered in the form they appear in a textbook. Statistics, spreadsheets and matrix work sit alongside, and graph display runs through Casio's ClassPad.net online service.

Entering and solving everyday calculations

Fractions, trigonometric functions and logarithms can be typed in as written on the page. The developer says the app is operated the same way as Casio's physical ClassWiz scientific calculators.

Statistics, spreadsheets and matrices

Statistical calculations, spreadsheets and matrix calculations are listed as separate modes. The developer says all three run on the app's own interface.

Graphs through ClassPad.net

Graph display is handled through connectivity to ClassPad.net, Casio's online service. The same service is the one the QR scan feature connects to, described below.

Scanning a physical ClassWiz's QR code

Scanning the QR code on a physical ClassWiz calculator brings up that model's formulas and graphs through ClassPad.net. The same scan also opens online instruction manuals for the device.
