What Energie24 is for

Energie24 is the mobile app from E.ON for handling an electricity or gas supply contract online. The developer lists it as available at any time of day, from any place with a connection.

Most of what it covers is routine account work: seeing what you owe, paying it, changing contact or payment details, and reporting your meter. It is built around the customer account rather than around any single tool, so the sections below group the features by the job they do.

The listing describes it for E.ON energy customers. Someone with a supply contract through E.ON would use it to manage that contract. The developer also ties it to the E.ON Bonus programme, covered further down.

Checking balances, bills and paying online

The app gives a summary of your advance payments (záloha), your payments so far and your annual settlement (vyúčtování). From the same screen you can pay what is due online.

The estimate feature tries to show what your next invoice will probably look like. It is meant to warn you early if you are heading for a surplus (přeplatek) or a shortfall (nedoplatek), so the figure at settlement time is less of a surprise.

Payment happens inside the app, so you do not need to switch to a bank site or wait for a paper invoice to arrive.

Changing account details and sending meter readings

You can change the size of your advance payments, your payment method and your contact details in a few taps. These are the settings people usually otherwise have to call or write in about.

Meter readings can be reported yourself through the app (samoodečet). This matters when the supplier's own reading is not current, because the settlement is based on the figures you send.

Changing the advance amount affects the monthly payment and the estimate above, so the two features are worth checking together.

Prices, contract terms and supply point switches

The app shows the energy prices that apply to your supply, the validity period of your contract, and the fixed price period if you have one. It is the quickest place to find the date your current terms end.

If you are moving to a new supply point (odběrné místo), the app shows which stage the switch has reached. Nothing in the listing says how that stage is determined, so the status is what you see, not a forecast.

Solar panels, virtual battery and low-tariff times

For households with photovoltaics, the app shows production, household consumption and how the Virtual battery (Virtuální baterie) is being used. It also includes data from your electricity meter.

Low-tariff (HDO) periods are the hours when the cheaper rate applies. The app shows when those times are in force and can send automatic alerts so you can plan appliance use around them.

Outage notices, sign-in and E.ON Bonus vouchers

Planned outages are listed for supply points in the EG.D and ČEZ distribution areas. The listing does not describe outages outside those two networks, so the feature is limited to those areas.

You can sign in with a fingerprint or a face scan instead of typing your credentials each time. The developer presents this as a quicker way into your account information.

The app also gives access to E.ON Bonus vouchers, which offer discounts and experiences through the customer programme.
