Time tracking for remote and field crews

ezClocker turns each employee's phone into a time clock. The developer names construction firms, janitorial and landscaping crews, contractors, home healthcare providers, sales teams and physician offices as examples of who it is built for, and says it suits any business with staff who work away from a single site.

The same account covers shift scheduling, so one record holds who worked, when they were scheduled and where they clocked in. Hours and schedules are kept in the ezClocker Cloud and can be opened from the website or the app at any time.

Clocking in on a phone with GPS location

Employees clock in and out with a single tap on their phone. Each event is placed on a built-in GPS map, so a manager can see where the clock-in and clock-out took place. The listing says the map records only those points and does not follow employees' movements.

Shift schedules and cloud-stored hours

Shifts are created from the app or the website, and the developer describes scheduling as happening in real time. Schedules and time records sit in the same cloud store, so the person building a roster and the person checking hours are looking at the same data.

The app includes a 30-day free trial. After the trial, a business with more than one employee needs a monthly subscription, which starts at $15 for up to 15 employees, $30 for up to 30 and $60 for up to 60. Teams above 60 are asked to contact support. Subscriptions renew automatically through the Google Play account, and auto-renewal can be turned off there.

Editing timesheets and exporting hours for payroll

Managers can review each employee's timesheet and modify the entries before pay is calculated. When payroll is due, the hours can be exported to a CSV or Excel file and emailed to the owner or an accountant. The listing says the export takes seconds.
