Fidelity Investments is the mobile app for Fidelity's brokerage and cash accounts. It combines investing, cash management and account security in one place, and it is aimed at people who already hold or want to open a Fidelity account and want to handle trades, transfers and alerts from a phone.
Workplace benefits are not handled here. The listing points those users to a separate app, NetBenefits.
The build we hold is Fidelity Investments 4.42 (APKS split bundle) for Android 12L and up.

The app lets you trade stocks, ETFs and mutual funds. The developer says the research and analysis behind these choices is industry-leading, and the listing does not describe the tools in more detail. For online US stock and ETF trades, the listing states a $0 commission for retail clients. Sell orders carry a small activity assessment fee, and a limited set of ETFs carries a $100 transaction fee.
Crypto trading is handled through Fidelity Crypto, which the listing says is offered by Fidelity Digital Assets. You can trade and transfer bitcoin and ethereum. The listing warns that crypto is highly volatile, can become illiquid, and suits investors with a high tolerance for risk.
Cash management covers trading, transferring money, depositing checks and paying bills from the app. You can schedule transfers and set up automated investments so that money moves on a timetable you choose.
For new retail brokerage accounts, uninvested cash goes into the Fidelity Government Money Market Fund by default unless you pick another option. The listing notes that brokerage accounts and money market fund holdings are not FDIC insured.
Alerts and notifications arrive on a timely basis, and you can set price triggers to help track stock trades. These are the tools the listing connects to managing a position.
Sign-in uses two-factor authentication along with voice biometrics. The app also includes a Virtual Assistant that the listing says you can chat with at any time, which the developer presents as round-the-clock support.
