The Galaxy Wearable app manages the wearable devices and gear series to phone.

Galaxy Wearable is the companion app that links a Samsung wearable to an Android phone and keeps it set up. It suits people who already own a Samsung watch or Galaxy Buds and want to manage them from the phone. The listing notes that it does not support Gear VR or Gear 360.
Most of what it offers depends on the wearable staying connected to the phone. The listing warns that features will not work properly without a stable link between the two.
The build we hold is Galaxy Wearable 2.2.72.26092361 (APK) for Android 8.0 and up.

You install the app on the phone and then pair the wearable with it over Bluetooth. The app also disconnects the two, so a wearable can be moved to a different phone.
Pairing is the starting point for everything else in the app, since the settings and features only appear once the wearable is connected.
The app handles software updates for the paired wearable. It also holds the clock settings, so the watch's time and display options can be changed from the phone.
These two areas sit together because both change the wearable itself rather than the apps on it.
Apps for the watch are downloaded through Galaxy Apps, and the app lists the wearable applications you have installed so you can change their settings. Notifications are handled in the same place, where you pick which notification types reach the wearable and adjust how each one is shown.
Find my Watch is the feature for locating a paired wearable, and it is listed alongside the rest of the management tools.
