What this photo gallery app covers

Gallery: Photo Gallery, Album is a photo manager for Android that browses and organizes GIFs, photos and videos from one place. The developer, Apps Specials, presents it as a way to group media into albums and to keep some of it locked away.

The listing names support for Motorola Gallery and Samsung Gallery. Its feature set is aimed at people who want to sort a large camera roll, separate private files from everyday ones, and clear out clutter.

Sorting GIFs, photos and videos into albums

You can create your own albums and assign GIFs, photos and videos to them, so specific files are easy to find again. The app can also sort media into albums on its own.

Both approaches work on the same library, so you can build a few albums by hand and let the automatic grouping handle the rest.

Locking private photos behind a PIN

A private vault holds the photos and videos you want kept out of sight. Opening it requires the PIN you set inside the app.

The listing presents the vault as a way to protect sensitive pictures, and access depends only on that PIN.

Recovering deleted pictures, GIFs and albums

Deleted GIFs, pictures and whole albums go to a recycle bin first. From there you can restore them, which covers mistakes as well as files removed in bulk.

The bin is the app's only recovery step described on the listing, so a file deleted from the bin is not covered by it.
