For the culturally curious – stories from around the world

Google Arts & Culture is a browsing app built around the collections of more than 2,000 cultural institutions in 80 countries. It brings together artworks, historical material, stories about people and images of places in one app, so a single session can move from a painting to a history of women's rights to a space agency's photographs.
The listing files it under Education and describes it as aimed at people curious about art, history and the wider world.
The build we hold is Google Arts & Culture 11.9.1133-983802582.1-release (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

Paintings from partner collections form the core of the app. The listing picks out Van Gogh's Starry Night as an example of a work you can examine in close detail.
Performing arts are covered as well, including material from the Paris Opera.
The stories cover the suffragettes who campaigned for women's rights, inspirational figures from Black history, Japan's food culture and the railways of India. The listing refers to these collectively as stories about cultural heritage.
Each topic is a separate thread to follow, so you can read about one subject without moving through the others.
The app includes NASA's archive of images alongside the art and history material. The listing also points to tours of the ancient Maya temples as one way into the content.
Together these make up the app's scope as the listing presents it: art, history, people and places from around the world.
