The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Google Chat is the best way for teams using Workspace to connect, collaborate and get things done.

Google Chat is the messaging app for people whose team already runs on Google Workspace. It covers one-to-one messages, group conversations and chats with a whole team, so most work talk can stay in one place.
It is included with Google Workspace for consumer, education and business accounts, so it is aimed at people who sign in through one of those accounts. Some premium features require a paid subscription.
The build we hold is Google Chat 2026.10.05.993506370.Release (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

You can start a chat with a single colleague, a small group or a full team. Each person can set a status that says whether they are heads-down or free to talk, and the status can be personalised.
Messages can be audio or video clips, which suits longer updates that would be awkward to type. For live talk, huddles let people connect in real time whenever they choose to, without setting up a meeting first.
Gemini can summarise a conversation so that someone who was away can catch up quickly. It can also pull action items out of a discussion so the team agrees on who does what next.
Messages can be translated automatically across more than 120 languages, which helps mixed-language teams read each other's posts. Search uses AI to help find a specific message or file in a long history.
Chat works alongside Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Tasks and Meet, so a conversation can lead directly into an email, a calendar event, a shared file or a video call. Smart chips insert a link to a file, a person or a space as a small card, which keeps references tidy.
The Google Drive app for Chat gathers requests, comments and approvals that come up in conversations, so they are easier to track and act on. Some of these connections depend on the Workspace account behind the app.
Chat apps can be added from the listed services, including PagerDuty, Jira, GitHub and Workday, so alerts and updates from those tools arrive in a chat. The listing says there are many more beyond these.
For custom work, the Chat APIs let people build apps at three levels: no-code, low-code and pro-code. That covers simple automations as well as software written from scratch.
