Google Gemini is your helpful AI assistant on the road, built into your car.

Google Gemini in the car is an AI assistant that runs on your car's screen and steering wheel controls. The listing aims it at drivers who want to ask questions, plan a stop or work through an idea while keeping their hands on the wheel.
Its main idea is conversation. You can keep talking to it about the same request instead of issuing one command at a time.
The build we hold is Google Gemini – in the car 13.1.781.RC04.tng.release.auto (APK) for Android 11 and up.

You can begin by saying "Hey Google" or "OK Google", tapping the microphone on the screen, or pressing the button on the steering wheel. The listing describes the exchange as free-flowing, so requests do not need to follow a fixed phrasing.
Gemini uses real-time updates from Google Maps to suggest places on your way. The listing's example asks for highly rated, sit-down restaurants along the route with outdoor seating, for a driver who is not in a hurry.
It can also help with navigation along that route, according to the listing.
After a set of options comes up, you can ask about the ones you are weighing. The listing gives parking conditions and vegetarian menu options as examples. Each follow-up narrows the list without starting the search over.
The listing says Gemini answers questions about your specific vehicle and can help brainstorm ideas in conversation. Both work through the same voice interface as the place searches.
