What the app is for

Haircut prank, air horn & fart is a sound effects app for playing pranks on friends. The main idea is a phone that stands in for a hair clipper or razor, so someone can be made to think their hair is being cut.

Beyond the haircut bit, the app is a soundboard. The listing says it gathers scary sounds, horns, breaking glass and car sounds in one place. It suits people who want quick gags for a group, not anything that needs setup or a sustained use.

The haircut prank and razor vibration

The haircut feature plays clipper sounds that the developer says are modelled on real hair clippers. The sound changes when the device is moved above someone's head, which is meant to make the cut seem to follow the movement.

The phone also vibrates in a way the listing compares to a real razor. Used together, the sound and vibration are the whole effect, so the prank depends on holding the phone close to the target.

Air horns, sirens and other prank sounds

The library covers more than 200 sounds, according to the listing summary. The named examples are air horns, sirens and clippers, and the developer's text adds scary sounds, car sounds and breaking glass.

Fart sounds sit in the same set, which is the reason the app name includes the word. Each sound plays from the app, so the sounds can be used one after another for a longer gag.

Sounds for group pranks

The developer describes the sounds as realistic and suggests they are meant to be played on friends. Most of the use is short, quick plays that set off a reaction, such as the horn, the glass break or a fart sound.

The app has no tools beyond the sounds and the haircut vibration. Its use is limited to picking a sound and playing it.
