Halloween Pumpkin Scarecrow

An animated Halloween watch face for Wear OS: a scarecrow with a carved jack-o'-lantern for a head looms over a dead cornfield, black against an enormous harvest moon. Fog creeps between the pumpkins at its feet, a crooked dead tree claws at the sky, and far off an abandoned farmhouse shows one lit window. Read the time as digital numerals in the sky or on the moon, or as analog hands on the scarecrow's chest.

KEY FEATURES
• Three ways to tell the time: numerals in the night sky (the hour left of the moon, the minutes right of it, glowing in the color of the fire), dark numerals on the moon either side of the hat, or two thin, crooked black hands turning on the chest with twelve marks round the rim.
• The hour follows your watch's 12- or 24-hour setting.
• Your steps, unread notifications and battery are daubed on wooden tags on the three pumpkins at its feet, and the date is painted on the board nailed to its stake.
• Each minute the candle inside the carved head gutters.
• On the hour a flock of crows bursts up out of the cornfield and wheels past the moon, fire blazes in the eyes and grin, and the hat hops off as a bat flies out from under it.
• Tap the head and its hat hops, and the bat flies out.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Time: numerals in the sky, numerals on the moon, or hands.
• Fire: candle gold, witch green, ghost blue or ember red; the glow in the head and round the sky numerals takes the same color.
• Hat hop on waking: the hat also hops each time your watch wakes (off by default).
• Three complications: steps, unread notifications and battery by default; choose other data for any of them in the watch face editor.

ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY
The moon dims to a faint disc with the scarecrow black against it; only the carved face, the time, the date, your steps and your battery stay lit, to save power.

MADE FOR HALLOWEEN
• On October 31, from 6 pm to 6 am, the crows come out every quarter hour.
• From midnight to one the moon turns blood-red.
• It all switches on by itself on the night: no setup needed.

Works on Wear OS 6 or later, such as Galaxy Watch models updated to One UI 8 Watch and Pixel Watch. Made in Watch Face Format: no permissions, no data collected.

HOW TO INSTALL
1. Install it from Google Play on your watch, or tap Install on my watch in the phone app.
2. Touch and hold your watch face, swipe to The Pumpkin Scarecrow and tap it. To customize, touch and hold it, then tap Customize.
