What Wallpapers changes on an Android phone

Wallpapers is Google's app for changing the background image on an Android phone. It covers both the lock screen and the home screen, and it draws images from three places: your own photos, the Google Earth collection, and scenic landscapes from Google+. It suits people who want the phone's look to change without picking a new image by hand each time.

Using your own photos and built-in collections

Any photo on the phone can be set as a wallpaper, which is the route for personal pictures. The Google Earth collection is a built-in source you can choose instead. The listing says the collection keeps growing as Google Earth, Google+ and other partners add images.

Separate lock screen and home screen wallpapers

The app can show one image on the lock screen and a different one on the home screen. That lets a shared-looking lock screen sit alongside a home screen image you picked for yourself.

Daily rotation by category and manual changes

Choosing a favorite category makes the app swap in a new image from that category each day. You can also change the wallpaper by hand as often as you want, so the daily rotation is not the only way to switch images.
