What kind of shark game this is
Hungry Shark Evolution is an offline arcade game in which you play a shark that eats everything it can reach in a large underwater open world. The goal is to survive as long as possible while moving up the food chain, starting from a small fish.
It is built around growth and survival rather than a fixed set of levels. Progression works more like an RPG, with stats that improve as your shark and its companions develop.
Hunting and evolving through the food chain
You hunt whales, fish, birds and other creatures, and each meal makes your shark bigger and stronger. The listing says the path runs through multiple evolution stages, from smaller fish to Great Whites, Hammerheads and the Megalodon.
The ocean also has hazards that can end a run, so the game asks you to keep eating and keep evolving. Gold Rush is a boost that extends your survival and adds points to your score while it is active.
Gear, accessories and baby shark companions
Accessories such as jetpacks, lasers and top hats are equipped to your shark. The listing says they change how your shark grows, swims, bites and lasts in the open world.
