LEGO® DUPLO® Marvel

What the LEGO DUPLO Marvel game is for

LEGO DUPLO Marvel is a pretend play game for preschoolers, aimed at kids aged 2 to 6. It puts LEGO DUPLO versions of Marvel heroes and their cars and other vehicles into play, so a child can act out stories with characters they already know.

The listing says the game is meant to build both thinking skills and social and emotional skills. It cites a Mom's Choice Gold Winner award from 2022 and a 2023 Kidscreen Awards nomination for Best Game App.

Pretend play with Spider-Man and the Avengers

The play is open-ended, so a child decides what the characters do. The listing gives examples such as shooting webs with Spider-Man or rescuing a cat with Captain America.

The roster covers Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Ghost-Spider, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Panther, Captain America and Ms. Marvel. The villains are Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Electro, and the developer lists more characters beyond these.

Building with DUPLO bricks

The game uses colorful 3D LEGO DUPLO bricks as its building material, which suits the large, simple pieces that small hands handle.

Problem-solving challenges for young children

Alongside free play, the game includes problem-solving challenges. The listing describes these as one of the ways it builds early thinking skills in children aged 2 to 6.

The developer also mentions surprises that appear during play, which add a sense of discovery to the adventures.
