My Earthquake Alerts - Map

A worldwide earthquake tracker with alerts

My Earthquake Alerts is a free earthquake tracker for Android that covers events across the world, not only one region. It shows a live map of recent quakes and can send push notifications when a new one is recorded. The app is supported by ads.

The feed draws on several US and international earthquake networks, so people in quake-prone regions and people who just want to follow global events can both use it.

Watching recent quakes on a live map

The feed appears on a live map and can also be opened as a list. Each event shows its exact location, its depth, and how far away it is from you. Switching between the two views lets you look at the same events either spatially or as a sorted list.

The listing describes the map as able to detect and track quakes from all around the world.

Getting push alerts after a quake

Push notifications are included at no cost. The listing says you are notified shortly after an earthquake occurs, and that the alerts are tailored to you without restrictions.

Searching quake history back to 1970

A search tool looks up past earthquakes going back to 1970. Use it to find events in a location or period you are interested in, separate from the live feed.

Search results use the same location, depth and distance details as the live feed.

Where the earthquake data comes from

The app combines information from a range of US and worldwide earthquake networks. The listing names the USGS and EMSC among them, which is why the feed covers both US and international events.
