What the Notepad notes and to-do app is for

Notepad: Notes, Todo & Tasks is a notes app that also handles checklists, task lists and reminders. The developer positions it for capturing ideas as they occur, planning the day and keeping work and personal tasks in one place. Listed uses include quick memos, daily notes, study material, meeting summaries and personal journaling.

Writing and editing notes and memos

Each note or memo takes a title and body text, and both can be edited at any time. The developer describes the editor as minimal, aimed at getting words down without extra setup. The same note can hold a short memo or a longer study or meeting summary.

Checklists, task planning and reminders

Simple checklists can be created for everyday items. Tasks can be sorted into daily priorities, or into separate lists for work and personal projects. Reminders can be set on individual tasks so that an important item comes up at the set time. The listing says tasks can be tracked for progress as they are completed.

Home screen widgets and keeping notes and tasks together

The listing names widgets among the app's features. Notes, memos, lists and reminders all sit in the same app, so a note and the tasks that come out of it can be kept side by side. The developer presents this as one place for the whole day's writing and planning.
