What OBDocker is for
OBDocker is an OBD2 car scanner. It reads what a car's computers have logged and lets you act on it. The developer groups its features into diagnostics, live data, service functions and modifications.
It suits owners who want to read codes, check live readings and handle routine resets themselves, without going to a workshop for each one.
Reading and clearing engine fault codes
Quick Scan reads engine fault codes and clears them. The full-system scan checks the whole car in one tap, which the developer describes as OE-level.
Multi-system scan lets you choose specific control units, including TMS, SRS (airbags), ABS (brakes), TCM (transmission) and BCM (body electronics). The developer says many more are covered.
Watching live sensor readings
Health Monitor tracks real-time parameters across every system in the car. Engine Monitor focuses on engine performance, and Dash Monitor shows the car's metrics as live graphics.
Together they let you follow the same data from a broad system view down to the engine alone.
Service resets and control tests
Oil Reset clears the oil change reminder and maintenance lights. Battery Registration tells the car's battery management system that a new battery has been fitted.
Control Tests run the EVAP leak test and reinitialize the DPF and inducement system. The emissions pre-check is meant to show whether the car will pass an official emissions test, according to the developer.
