Pepi Ride: fun car racing

What Pepi Ride is and who it suits

Pepi Ride is a car racing game for young children. It combines two activities: decorating the car you drive, and driving it through courses with obstacles and changing scenery.

The game is rated Everyone and is written for little players, with cartoon characters and bright courses. Parents and kids looking for a simple driving game with a creative side would be the likely audience.

Customising your car in the garage

Each session starts in the garage, where you pick a car and one of four characters to drive it. Before racing, you can change how the car looks.

The garage offers paints, several brush styles, different wheels, gadgets and stickers. Turbo-boosted shark decorations are also among the options. The customising happens before you open the map, so each car can look different from the others.

Driving the nine courses

Once your car is ready, you open the map and choose a course. The game lists nine driving courses set in fantasy locations.

The first course is a sunny beach with simple hills. Later courses move into forest and jungle settings with tree stumps, rope bridges over gaps, footbridges and rocks. The listing says the road surface varies from course to course, with bumps that change the feel of each drive.

Finding hidden gifts on the courses

The developer says some wrapped gifts are hidden in the game for players who want to look closely at the courses. The listing does not describe what the gifts are or what they unlock.
