Pepi Wonder World: Magic Isle! is a pretend-play game built around a set of themed islands, each one a stage for fairy tale and fantasy role play. The listing aims it at girls and boys, and it carries a USK All ages rating.
Characters include princesses, dragons, pirates, knights and witches, plus other figures from folk tales. The player moves them through the islands and chooses what they do there, so the game works as a sandbox for telling your own story.
Kings Castle is a medieval palace with dungeons, stables, animals, a kitchen, a throne room and several hidden areas to find. Dwarf Mountain is described as an island inspired by well-known fantasy tales, with Dragon's Treasure Cave, Princess Tower, a Magic Garden and gnomish mines. The Witch House island is set in a spooky place where Halloween is always happening.
Each island has its own setting and its own activities, so the three can be played separately or used together in one story.
Dress-up is available for princesses, knights and witches, and the princess dresses are made on Dwarf Mountain. In the palace kitchen, characters cook royal dishes and sit down to a feast.
On Dwarf Mountain you navigate underground tunnels, grow plants in the Magic Garden, craft gems in the gnomish mines and look for treasure in the cave.
In the witch house, you mix and brew potions to create spooky monsters. You can also dress up witches and hold a music show, which gives the island its performance side.
The result is a set of stories the player builds from these pieces, rather than a fixed sequence of levels.
