Pulse SMS is a text messaging app from Maple Media, listed under Communication for Android. Its main purpose is to carry your SMS and MMS conversations to your other screens, so you are not tied to the phone that receives them.
It suits people who text from a phone and also want those conversations on a tablet, a computer or a car. The developer describes it as a private, next-generation messaging app.
According to the listing, you can send and receive texts and pictures from a computer, a tablet, a car, or any device with an internet connection. The messages come from your existing SMS and MMS account on the phone, so you reply from whichever screen is closest.
The build we hold is Pulse SMS (Phone/Tablet/Web) 7.0.4.3045 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

Picture messages are included, so MMS images can be sent and received from those other devices as well as plain text.
The core feature is syncing. The developer says Pulse SMS keeps both SMS and MMS messages in sync across all of your devices, so a conversation started on one screen appears on the others.
Because sync covers both message types, a picture that arrives as MMS is not left behind on the phone. It can be viewed and answered on another device connected to the same messages.
The listing calls the app private and secure, and describes it as fast. Syncing to other devices relies on an internet connection, which the listing names as the requirement for using a device other than the phone.
If you mainly want a messaging app that stays in step with your phone across several screens, that is the feature set the listing describes.
