Status Saver - Video Saver

What Status Saver - Video Saver is for

Status Saver - Video Saver is a tool for copying the photos and videos that friends post as status updates. The listing describes it as a way to save status to the gallery and little else, so the whole app is built around that one job.

It suits someone who wants to keep a friend's status image or clip on their own phone rather than only see it once.

Saving status photos and videos to the gallery

The app downloads status photos and videos and places them in the phone's gallery. The listing says the process takes a few simple steps and covers story photos and status videos alike.

Once saved, the files can be opened from the gallery whenever you want them, without going back to the original status.

Viewing status without being marked as seen

A separate function lets you look at friends' status without it being marked as seen, according to the developer. The listing gives no further detail on how this works, so the description here is limited to what it states.

Sharing and reposting saved status

Saved photos and videos can be sent to friends directly. The listing also says they can be reposted on other social media, which lets a saved clip move beyond the chat it came from.
