What this music practice app is for
Tuner & Metronome bundles the tools a musician uses at a practice session into one app: a tuner, a metronome, a recorder, sheet music and an AI feedback feature called AI Tutor. The developer, Soundcorset Tuner, describes it as built for practicing with a clear routine rather than for performance or production.
Most of the controls can be run with a single touch, which the listing presents as the main way to operate it while your hands are on an instrument. The developer lists each part as something you can switch on or off during a session.
Tuning an instrument with the chromatic tuner
The tuner works in two modes. The chromatic mode measures the pitch and loudness of the sound it hears, which suits tuning a note at a time. The pitch fork mode gives a fixed reference tone instead.
The reference pitch for A4 is set to 440 Hz by default, and the listing says you can change it. That matters for ensembles or older instruments that tune to a different standard.
Metronome timing, beat modes and rhythm patterns
The metronome starts and stops with one touch and can be run hands-free. Beats can be signalled three ways: a flash of the phone's light, a vibration, or a visual indicator on screen. This lets you use it in a room where sound would bother others, or while your attention is on the instrument.
You can choose rhythm patterns to practice against. The developer says the metronome does not lag behind the beat, and presents steady timing as a core part of the app.
Recording practice and getting AI feedback
A built-in recorder captures your playing with one touch, so you can review a session later without setting up a separate recording app. Recordings are the input for AI Tutor.
AI Tutor returns visual feedback on a recording. According to the listing, it points out the parts you played well, the passages that need more work, and gives you a clearer goal for the next practice.
Practicing with sheet music on screen
The app includes more than 4,000 free sheet music pieces, which the developer describes as new. You can also upload your own sheet music and display it in the app.
With a score open, you can record and practice while reading along or following the notes as they appear, then review that recording with AI Tutor.
