Vampire Survivors is a roguelite time survival RPG with a gothic horror setting. Each run ends in death, and the aim is to last as long as possible while hundreds of monsters close in. The developer describes it as minimalist in its gameplay, and it is built around surviving until dawn rather than finishing a fixed set of levels.
Because runs are short and repeat, the gold you collect carries forward. You use it to buy upgrades that help the next survivor, which is the main long-term progression the listing describes.
The listing names Cross, garlic, king bible and magic wand as starting weapons, and says you choose which to pick up. It suggests taking two or three offensive weapons early and levelling them one at a time rather than spreading picks thin.
Gems and items stay on the ground until you collect them, so you can grab them at your own pace. Armour and luck are named as good early power-ups to spend gold on. The listing also suggests refunding power-ups often, which it describes as free, to test different upgrade paths.
The game includes several stages, which the listing names as a library, a dairy plant and old Capella. You pick a character before each run. Roguelite skill experience is described as the way to collect bonuses and find treasure within a run.

The whole game can be played in 1-4 player couch co-op in landscape orientation, so several people can share one screen. Controls are handled through the touchscreen on the device.
