What the calendar app is for
BlackBerry Hub+ Calendar is an Android calendar app that gathers events from several accounts into one set of views. It is aimed at people who keep work and personal schedules with different providers. The listing names Google Calendar, Outlook.com, Office 365 and Exchange ActiveSync as supported, along with subscribed calendars and others.
Syncing work and personal calendars
Accounts are synced so events from each provider appear in the same app, and several calendars can be managed at once. Events can be searched by subject, location or participants, which helps when a meeting is remembered only by who was in it. Where an administrator allows it, work and personal calendars can be shown together while their data stays stored separately.
Creating events and reading your schedule
Appointments and events can be created in the app and then viewed as an agenda, by day, by week or by month. An agenda widget on the home screen lists upcoming events without opening the app. A dark theme is available as a display option.
Handling invitations and joining meetings
Meeting invitations can be read, responded to and forwarded from the calendar or from the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox. Event reminders carry a one-tap option to call into the meeting. Meeting mode silences audible notifications automatically while a meeting is on.
