You love your phone. So does your PC.

Link to Windows is the Android half of Microsoft's phone pairing setup. You install it on your phone, then connect it to the Phone Link app on a Windows PC. Once the two are paired, your phone's texts, calls, notifications and photos can be used from the computer.
It suits people who spend much of the day at a Windows PC and want their phone's messages and photos there without picking up the phone.
The build we hold is Link to Windows 1.26082.130.0 (APK) for Android 10 and up.

Incoming text messages can be read and answered from the PC keyboard. Calls can also be placed and answered from the computer. The listing says calls need a Windows PC with Bluetooth.
Notifications from the phone can be managed on the PC, so alerts do not need to be checked on the handset. Photos stored on the phone are reachable from the PC, and the listing says you can copy, edit and drag and drop them without emailing them to yourself.
Drag-and-drop of files and copy-and-paste between devices are marked in the listing as working on compatible phones only.
On compatible Microsoft Duo, Samsung and HONOR phones, the listing says you can open favorite mobile apps on the PC and view the phone screen. You can then use the PC's keyboard, mouse and touch screen to work with the phone.
On those phones the app is built in, so the listing says no separate download from the Play Store is needed.
The app includes an accessibility service for people who use a screen reading tool on their PC. With it turned on, the listing says you can control the phone's apps from the PC using Android keyboard navigation, with spoken feedback through the PC's speakers.
