Knox Service Plugin, usually called KSP, is a tool for enterprise IT administrators rather than individual phone owners. It sets up Samsung Knox Platform for Enterprise (KPE) policies on devices that an organisation manages. Those policies are applied to the device once the plugin is enabled.
The app only supports a subset of KPE features. Its job is to switch KPE policies on, and the admin guide the developer links to explains how an admin does that for each device in the fleet.
The build we hold is Knox Service Plugin 1.5.74 (26.08) (APK) for Android 8.0 and up.

The plugin uses Android's device administration model to set up policies and manage KPE-enabled Samsung devices. An admin turns on the KPE policies they want, and the devices then carry those settings. Users of the devices do not run these steps themselves.
Because the plugin handles policy setup and nothing else, it is narrow in scope. Anyone looking for a general Knox dashboard, or for end-user controls, will find this app does not provide them.
Devices with KSP enabled can be deployed in one of three ways: fully managed, Knox Workspace, or fully managed with Knox Workspace. The mode decides how the device is split between work and personal use and how much of the device the organisation controls.
The plugin is the step that makes a device eligible for these modes. The mode itself is chosen as part of the deployment.
Admins do not configure the plugin on the device directly. The developer says they should use a compatible UEM or EMM solution provider that supports Managed Play Store and OEMConfig, and run the setup from that provider's console and backend.
The developer links an online admin guide with step-by-step instructions for setting up KPE policies on devices in an enterprise.
An optional verbose mode writes policy details to the device so that problems can be analysed. The developer describes this as a way to diagnose issues with policy setup.
The mode is off unless an admin turns it on. It is aimed at support work, not everyday use.
