What the CONTROL+ app does with a Technic set

CONTROL+ is a companion app for LEGO Technic models that support app control. The developer names eight sets it can connect to and says that list is still growing. Each of those sets is sold separately.

It suits owners of one of the listed sets who want to drive the model, follow what it is doing and work through the app's challenges.

Driving a connected model

The multi-function control mode is the main way to drive a connected model from the app. A one-touch screen offers alternative control schemes for the same model, so you can change how you steer and operate it.

Sound effects, real-time data and per-model features

Each CONTROL+ model gets its own experience in the app, so the features and functions you see depend on the set you connect. The app plays sound effects and reports real-time data from the model while you drive it.

Challenges, badges and videos

Challenges & Achievements mode gives you handling tasks to complete with the model. Finishing them unlocks badges. The same mode also includes videos to watch.

The eight listed Technic sets

The listing names LEGO Technic Batmobile Tumbler (42239), Lamborghini Revuelto Super Sports Car (42214), Porsche GT4 e-Performance Race Car (42176), Off-Road Buggy (42124), 6x6 Volvo Articulated Hauler (42114), App-Controlled Top Gear Rally Car (42109), Liebherr R 9800 (42100) and 4X4 X-Treme Off-Roader (42099). Each set is sold separately, and the developer says the list keeps growing.
