Samsung Notes for IWB can create and edit documents on SAMSUNG Interactive Display.
By Hafiz Rahman
Editor, tools and utilities
Samsung Notes for IWB creates and edits documents on a SAMSUNG Interactive Display. IWB stands for interactive whiteboard, so the app is built for touch panels in a room rather than for a phone or tablet.
It suits people who work on those panels and need to write, mark up or keep notes while using them. Each note can mix handwriting, PDF pages, photos and sound.
The build we hold is Samsung Notes for SAMSUNG IWB 1.5.00.2 (APKS split bundle) for Android 6.0 and up.

New notes start with the + button in the bottom right corner of the main screen. Notes are saved with the .sdocx extension.
While writing, the Handwriting icon lets you write by hand, and the strokes appear directly on the note page.
You can add annotations to a PDF inside the app. The listing also says documents from other apps can be connected to a note, and names PDF, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint as examples.
This lets a note hold a source document alongside your own marks, so the annotations sit on top of the file they refer to.
The photo icon in a note opens the camera to take a new picture, or loads an existing photo. Photos can be tagged and edited after they are added.
The Voice Recording icon records sound while you are writing, so a note can carry audio alongside its handwriting and images.
Lock Note is found under Settings from the More Options menu on the main screen. You choose a locking method and a password there.
Individual notes can also be locked from the More Options menu on the note itself, so you can protect only the notes you select.
