This page needs its stylesheet to be shown
The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Stay in touch with your friends and family using LINE!

LINE is a messaging app that combines text chat with voice and video calls. The listing describes it as free, and it is built around talking to friends and family who also use LINE. Calls and messages go to other LINE friends, so it works best when the people you want to reach already have the app.
Most of its features are tied to a friends list, so the app is mainly useful for people with an existing LINE contact network.
The build we hold is LINE: Calls & Messages 26.16.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 12L and up.

Voice calls, video calls and text messages all run between you and your LINE friends. Home shows your friends list and birthdays, along with the sticker shop and other services and content LINE offers. It is the place to find people and move into the rest of the app from.
Stickers and emojis are the main way to add expression to a chat, and the sticker shop is reached from Home. Themes change the look of the LINE app itself, so the screens can be customized to your preference.
The listing describes the sticker range as large, but it does not give a count.
According to the listing, Letter Sealing encrypts your messages, call history and location information. Keep Memo is a personal chatroom where you can temporarily store messages, photos and videos.
Keep Memo sits inside the app as its own chat, so files saved there stay separate from your conversations with other people.
The listing says LINE works on smartphones, desktop and Wear OS, so you can keep chatting from a PC at the office or while working remotely, or from a watch when the phone is not in hand.
On a Wear OS smartwatch, the app connects to check messages and can add a LINE complication to the watch face.
