A Copilot briefing before each meeting
Microsoft is using its latest Outlook update for Android to promote Copilot's meeting preparation tool. In the release notes for version 5.2641.1, Microsoft says Copilot can get someone ready for a meeting in minutes by summarizing key documents, tasks and past meetings.
According to Microsoft's support documentation, the summary appears inside the meeting event and covers meeting-related emails and documents, your tasks, and a recap of the previous meeting. Users can also chat directly with Copilot to prepare more deeply, whether it's confirming action items or learning more about the meeting goals. Microsoft lists Outlook Mobile among the supported apps, along with the web, Windows, Mac and Teams versions.
